The 3rd ASE Conference series on Big Data Science and Computing (BigDataScience 2014 Beijing) and the 7th ASE Conference series on Social Computing (SocialCom 2014 Beijing) are looking for demos in the areas of big data, data visualization, data mining, social media, social signal processing and social computing for presentation at the conference.
The Demo session will provide an exciting and highly interactive way to demonstrate your latest research to conference attendees. All Demo submissions must include
1) Two-page Demo Paper describing the demonstrated concepts and motivations, the system and the techniques, features and scenarios, and the significance of the contributions to big data or social computing. The paper should be in the standard ACM proceedings template style(http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates );
2) One-page Demo Requirements Submission describing what additional equipment (if any) is required (e.g., Internet, monitor and power outlets, etc).
Demo submissions will be evaluated on novelty, relevance, and technical quality of the demo systems. For accepted demos, demo papers will be published in the adjunct proceedings by ACM. Each final camera-ready demo paper should be submitted in the PDF format, and not exceed TWO pages, including figures and other materials. At least one of the demo paper authors must register for the conference, and perform the demo on site.
Include your two-page demo paper and one-page demo requirements submission (both in PDF) and attach them to a ZIP file and submit to the Demo Submission Site:
https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bigdatascience2014be
and select the Demos track to submit your ZIP file.

Submission guidelines
—————————
Submit a one-page extended abstract of your poster in PDF format that describes your work:
(1) The poster abstract should be 1 page and follow ACM paper submission guidelines like the full papers of the conference (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates). Submissions are single blinded, so please include authors’ names and affiliations.
(2) The abstract should clearly state: (a) the problem being addressed, (b) what makes this problem interesting, important, and difficult, (c) your approach to the problem, and (d) the key contributions.
(3) Submissions must be done through the EasyChair system at the link of:
https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bigdatascience2014be
and select the Posters track to submit your abstract.
The poster committee will review all poster proposals. For those accepted posters, the poster abstracts will be published in the Adjunct Proceedings along with the workshop papers and demo papers, and the poster author will be asked to create a poster and possible demonstration to be displayed in a dedicated poster area.
